This apartment is situated in the lovely condo, “Cesa Fraines 18”, in Alba Di Canazei at the foot of the forest, not far from the cable car “Ciampac” that takes you straight to the ski resort in the high “Val di Fassa”, which is well-known for its beautiful mountains and its superb tourist facilities. The main center of Canazei is just 1 KM away and the ski bus stop, which connects the entire valley, is at about 50 meters away.
The 45 sq. meter apartment has one bedroom, a living-room, a built-in kitchen, and one bathroom (with shower). It is located on the ground floor of the complex. It can accommodate up to 5 guests (4 adults and 1 child).
There are 2 twin beds-than can be joined to make a queen bed in the bedroom, a sofa that turns into 2 single beds in the living room, and a sofa/chair-bed which is more suitable for children. There is a dining area, which can comfortably sit up to 6 (a bench and 3 chairs).
In the apartment, we provide the following amenities: a fully equipped kitchen with an electric stovetop (4 burners), a microwave and an electric kettle, washing machine, WiFi and Italian satellite TV, and of course central heating in the winter.
In the complex, you will find free parking and access to lockers for your ski equipment. There is a well-equipped grocery store and ski equipment rental shop that rents bikes in the summer. There is also a charming little pub where you can hang-out in the evenings.
Right next to the complex is the “La Cacciatora” hotel with a nice restaurant and a bowling alley. In addition, 600 metres away is the famous kosher “MyHotel”.
The town of Alba Di Canazei has an Ice Palace, where you can skate and play in an international hockey arena. In Canazei there is a big and brand new indoor heated pool with a spa and plenty of other activities and attractions, such as a supermarket, cinema, library, restaurants, pizzerias, shops, boutiques, bowling, parks, table tennis, games for children and a weekend market (on Saturdays).
Canazei is the starting point for countless excursions suitable for children, families and hikers/skiers/cyclists. There is a beautiful, recently renewed, mountain bike-riding trek which is 40 km long and runs throughout the entire valley up to Molina di Fiemme. The arrival stations of the cable cars, Belvedere and the Ciampac which are both located at high altitude, are the starting point for extreme sports such as hiking, climbing, free riding and downhill biking.
Transportation: You can arrive by car or by direct bus from Milan or Venice (approx. 5 hours). With the “PanoramaPass” ski pass, you will enjoy cheap access to the cable cars taking you up to the different mountain tops in the area, as well as the inter-valley bus connecting between them which also reaches all the way to the Marmolada mountain top – the highest in the area that has a beautiful water dam.
In addition Just 5 minutes from the apartment is the new cable car connecting Alba to the Belvedere ski area, acting as a link between Ciampac ski area and the famous ski carousel of the “Sella Ronda”. This will be in a new cable car that fits up to 100 passengers, and will approx. a 5 minute ride across 2,265 meters!
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
1. Check-in is between 4-7 PM (16:00-19:00).
2. Check-in and checkout can’t be on a Sunday.
3. During “off season” some shops and attractions might not be active.
4. Bookings are from Saturday-Saturday.
5. The central heating is closed during the summer months.
There is a tourist tax in Canazei of 0.7 Euros per guest per night which will be charged separately upon arrival to the apartment.
