Easy access to Canazei town and ski buss! This is a perfect place for a perfect ski vacation! Great for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups.
This apartment is situated in the lovely condo, “Cesa Fraines”, in Alba Di Canazei at the foot of the forest, just 200 meters to the “Ciampac” lift that takes you straight to the Sella Rondah ski connection in the high “Val di Fassa”, which is well-known for its beautiful mountains and its superb tourist facilities. The main center of Canazei is just under 2 KM away and the ski bus stop, which connects the entire valley, is just about 50 meters away. In the apartment, we provide the following amenities: an equipped kitchen with an electric stove-top (4 burners), a toaster oven and a microwave. Washing machine and Italian satellite TV, and of course central heat in the winter. Linens and towels can be provided as well, with advance reservation, 20 € per person – paid directly to the management company onsite. In the complex, you will find free parking and access to lockers for your ski equipment. There is a well-equipped grocery store as well, and ski equipment rental shop that rents bikes in the summer. There is also a charming little pub where you can hang-out in the evenings (or morning, if you so wish 😉 ). Right beside to the complex is the “La Cacciatora” hotel with a nice restaurant and a bowling hall. In addition, 600 m away there is also the famous kosher “MyHotel”. During “off season” some shops and attractions might not be active.
The main feature of this apartment is it’s amazing location – you are literally 200 meters from the Ciampaq cable car lift that takes you direct up to the Sellah Rondah – the Dolomite ski network! You don’t even need the ski-bus! The town of Alba Di Canazei has an Ice Palace, where you can skate and play in an international hockey arena. In Canazei there is a big and brand new indoor heated pool with a spa and plenty of other activities and attractions, such as a super market, cinema, library, restaurants, pizzerias, shops, boutiques, bowling, parks, Ping-Pong, games for children and a weekend market (on Saturdays). Canazei is the starting point for countless excursions suitable for children and experts. There is a beautiful, recently renewed, mountain bike-riding trek of 40 km long which runs throughout the entire valley and up to Molina di Fiemme. The arrival stations of the cable cars, Belvedere and the Ciampac, at high altitude, is also the starting point for extreme sports such as hiking, climbing, free riding and downhill biking.
Transportation: You can arrive by car or by direct bus from Milan or Venice (approx. 5 hours). The main center of Canazei is just 2 KM away and The ski bus stop, which connects the entire valley, is at about 50 meters away. With the “PanoramaPass” ski pass, you will enjoy cheap access to the cable cars taking you up to the different mountain tops in the area, as well as the inter-valley bus connecting between them which also reaches all the way to Marmolada mountain top – the highest in the area that has a beautiful water dam. In addition ,Just 5 minutes from the apartment is the new cable car connecting Alba to the Belvedere ski area, acting as a link between Ciampac ski area and the famous ski carousel of the “Sella Ronda”. This will be in a new cable car that fits up to 100 passengers, and will approx. a 5 minute ride across 2,265 meters!
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
1. Check is between 4-7 PM (16:00-19:00).
2. Check-in and checkout can’t be on a Sunday.
3. During “off season” some shops and attractions might not be active.
4. Linen and towels are provided at an extra charge of 20 € per guests, paid directly to the managing company on site.
5. There is a tourist tax in Canazei of 0.7 Euros per guest per night which will be charged separately upon arrival to the apartment.
